Meet Guignard and Ella, the resident black bears at Central Florida Zoo:
Guignard and Ella will soon be able to interact with a new enrichment device. Their EED will feature a motion sensor they can walk in front of which will set off a blower to scatter zoo approved food into their habitat. This will encourage natural foraging behaviors. There are lights on the EED to let the keepers and bears know when the device is active. The motion sensor is stand alone and can be moved to different locations in their habitat.
